Site Section

Chris,

The annotations are missing. Your drawing is bare and conceptual and needs more detail (both architecturally and programmaticly)to be more useful.

Some content questions:

- how are you going to make the facade of the nightclub attractive during the day? So far I see a (brick?) wall with some random openings are these windows, or displays, or?

- the large "arches" perpendicular to the building mass are there for which reason? I thought they might be used to hang the floors from them, but the section does not read this way. What is the structure for the building? I normally would not ask this question, but since you use expressive elements that read as structure the question comes up.

How does the section work in the other direction?

Chris!

How's the rugged, cold way-North? Something that occured to me when looking at your section and reading Enno's comments. Maybe it would help to have a heavy, strong black line along the bottom to really "ground" the buildings? Just a graphical suggestion...

Chris –

The flat on section takes away from the dramatics of your building. Is it possible to do a isometric section?

The floor to floor levels are a lot taller than I was expecting. That is going to definitely make that second level a pretty dramatic space.
